Graffiti Research Labs - LED Throwies |
Permalink
LED Throwies, a new and fresh artistic form of graffiti, created by the Graffiti Research Labs, are small light emiting dispositives made of a LED, a lithium battery, a rare-earth magnet and some tape, which can be thrown into the air to become adhered to metallic or ferrous surfaces.
Creating an electric circuit with the LED and the battery to emit colored light, these throwies tend to become a celebration of color. And if, during the event of throwing hundreds of LED throwies, a lot of people are involved, it may become somewhat of a party or an art display.
I'd like to build one of those LED throwies and get a bunch of friends together. The only problem would be getting the stuff together and asking the local government or a landlord to execute the plan.
